Application for degree programmes in English started

Application period for degree programmes in English starting in autumn 2020 began on 8 January 2020. Satakunta University of Applied Sciences (SAMK) has six Bachelor´s degree programmes to offer.

Satakunta University of Applied Sciences (SAMK) has six Bachelor´s degree programmes to offer.

In recent years, SAMK has increased the study opportunities available in English. Besides studies in International Business and Physiotherapy, one can study International Tourism Management, Nursing and studies of a Sea Captain.

This spring studies in Artificial Intelligence are available for the first time. Education in Artificial Intelligence trains competent programmers for the field with good employment prospects at the moment.

Industrial Management and Logistics can also be studied at SAMK but their application period is later in spring, i.e. 11 March – 1 April 2020. They are exceptional degree programmes as they are studied almost entirely online. The application period for Master´s degree programmes in English is also 11 March – 1 April 2020.

The joint application period for degree programmes in Finnish is 18 March – 1 April 2020 at opintopolku.fi.

All degree programmes in English are applied to at studyinfo.fi.

8 – 22 January 2020 Bachelor´s degree programmes in English

11 March – 1 April Bachelor´s degree programmes in English

11 March – 1 April 2020 Master´s degree programmes in English

A significant step for the internationalisation of Satakunta - SAMK joins the European Commission's flagship collaboration

The European Commission has awarded the Seal of Excellence to the DIVERSE University Alliance comprising Satakunta University of Applied Sciences (SAMK) and 11 other European higher education institutions. This positions SAMK as part of the flagship collaboration of the Commission's European Strategy for Universities.

CampusMoWe provides well-being and sports services for students and staff at Satakunta universities

The well-being of students is considered extremely important at SAMK. One significant investment in this regard is CampusMoWe which offers well-being services at Satakunta’s higher education institutions.
