At SAMK, recruitment is based on the requirements of the position and the applicant’s competence, and applications are handled confidentially in accordance with data protection regulations. During the recruitment process, we do not ask about your age, for example. If you require any special arrangements during the process, please let us know. We want to ensure that everyone has an equal opportunity to participate.
We post all vacancies on our website and in selected media. Please note, that the application period is usually two weeks.
A selection group, confirmed by the President, will review the applications, select the interviewees, participate in the interview process at the selected SAMK campus and make a selection recommendation.
Circa 4 – 6 candidates are invited to interviews. Candidates invited for the interview will be performing aptitude testing. The interview includes either a demonstration lecture or a possible work sample depending on the applied position.
The selection group will make a proposal to the President and informs other candidates of the selection.
Is there still something that you are wondering about in our recruitment process? What else would you like to know? Do you have any ideas for improvement?
