CyberSEA – Increasing Cyber Security at SEA through digital training

The CyberSEA project has a comprehensive mission to bolster cybersecurity within the maritime industry. Its central objective is to enhance awareness and training for cadets and seafarers by creating educational materials, establishing remote laboratories, and a virtual hub, and delivering online training courses. With a focus on Greece, the project also seeks to equip trainers with the skills to educate others effectively. By identifying vulnerabilities and disseminating best practices, CyberSEA aims to improve cybersecurity in the maritime sector. The expected outcomes include heightened awareness and skills, the development of a state-of-the-art training program, increased trainer capacity, remote cybersecurity facilities, and the widespread adoption of cybersecurity best practices. Ultimately, CyberSEA endeavors to create a more resilient and secure maritime environment through education and practical measures.
