SAMK and Li Ka Shing School of Professional and Continuing Education, Hong Kong Metropolitan University (LiPACE) have signed a cooperation agreement. The agreement makes academic collaboration between the two universities possible.

LiPACE Tourism students can receive a Bachelor of Hospitality Management in International Tourism Management from SAMK. Hong Kongese students will study the first year at their home university and then three years at SAMK. On graduation, the students will receive a diploma certificate from SAMK.

– I’m happy that our universities have started cooperation. We share the same educational values, we want to provide high quality graduates for the labour market. It is my pleasure to welcome Hong Kongese students to study in Satakunta, says Jari Multisilta, President of SAMK.

– I think this top-up degree offers great opportunities for Tourism students since the future of tourism is very interesting. I wish you will have a fruitful cooperation, comments Johanna Karanko, Consul-General of Finland in Hong Kong and Macau.
