Cooperation agreement with Dong A

The international operations of SAMK are expanding. With this agreement Vietnamese Nursing students have a possibility to get a degree in Finland.

SAMK and Dong A University in Vietnam have signed a cooperation agreement. The agreement makes academic collaboration between the two universities possible.

Dong A University Nursing students can receive a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from SAMK. Vietnamese students will study the first year at their home university and then three years at SAMK. On graduation, the students will receive a diploma certificate from SAMK.

– I believe the agreement will be mutually beneficial to both universities, says Jari Multisilta, President of SAMK.

In addition to degree collaboration, there will also be exchange visits, summer schools and other academic activities viewed to be mutually beneficial. This will promote closer ties between Finland and Vietnam.

– I have high expectations for this programme, says Dang Thi Hai Tam, Ambassador of Vietnam to Finland.

Application period begins on Monday – SAMK offers a wide range of degree programmes in Finnish and English

The application period for universities of applied sciences will take place from 1 to 11 September 2025. At SAMK, applicants can choose from a diverse selection of degree programmes in both Finnish and English. Studies will begin at the start of 2026.
