A few study places still left to be applied for this autumn at SAMK

Four different English Bachelor’s Degree Programmes have still a few study places left to be applied for this autumn at SAMK. The application period is 10-14 August 2020. All the programmes begin in the autumn 2020.

The applications concern English degree programmes in four different study programmes, which aim at the following Bachelor’s Degrees: the Bachelor of Business Administration, Bachelor of Hospitality Management and Bachelor of Maritime Management. The education takes place in Pori and Rauma campuses.

International Tourism Management at Pori campus leads to a degree of a Bachelor of Hospitality Management. The study programme gives you knowledge and skills in developing companies and services in the tourism sector.

Two international study programmes leading to a degree of a Bachelor of Business Administration can be applied to: Artificial Intelligence in Pori concentrates on artificial intelligence, machine learning and programming; International Business in Rauma concentrates on international business.

The degree programme in Maritime Management in Rauma can also be applied to. A graduate from the Sea Captain programme can be employed as a ship’s officer or a sea captain.

The application period to all these degree programmes is from 10 August till 14 August 3 p.m. (Finnish time). The application takes place at the studyinfo.fi service.

All of these studies begin in the autumn 2020.

A group of universities of applied sciences is proposing a pilot programme for professionally-oriented doctoral education to be launched during the next government term. The proposal stems from concerns about Finland’s declining competitiveness, weakening innovation capacity, and falling behind in European development.
