SAMK will showcase its education and services at Dubai Expo

On 14–16 December 2021 the Education Finland cluster, including SAMK, hosts three days of inspiring presentations, demos and discussions in Finland Pavilion at Dubai Expo.

Education Finland has put together a cluster of Finnish education expertise who represent top innovations, know-how and services in education. Cluster consist of 14 education organizers and enterprises in the field.

On 14-16 December 2021 the Education Finland cluster hosts three days of inspiring presentations, demos and discussions on the second floor of the Finland Pavilion. The days will be opened by the Finnish Minister of Science and Culture, H.E. Antti Kurvinen.

The themes of the days are as follows:

15.12.2021 Student and school of tomorrow
16.12.2021 Finnish education as a global service

In addition to the scheduled sessions, there is a non-stop exhibition presenting top innovations and education expertise from Finland, the superpower in education.

Our students will be employed: 'Ken'Jirayu Vasutheprungsun and the wide range of mechatronics

From Thailand to Finland, Mechatronics student ‘Ken’ Jirayu Vasutheprungsun found not only a practical and hands-on approach to engineering studies at SAMK, but also a chance to pursue his passion for technology, racing culture, and building a future in Finland.

Growth continues – A record number of students graduated from SAMK again in 2025

In 2025, Satakunta University of Applied Sciences (SAMK) once again reached a record high in the number of graduates. The number of graduates has increased for several consecutive years.
