Application period begins on Monday – SAMK offers a wide range of degree programmes in Finnish and English

The application period for universities of applied sciences will take place from 1 to 11 September 2025. At SAMK, applicants can choose from a diverse selection of degree programmes in both Finnish and English. Studies will begin at the start of 2026.

In the autumn joint application, applicants can apply to three bachelor’s degree programmes in Finnish, four Master School programmes in Finnish (master’s degrees), and two bachelor’s degree programmes in English. In addition, a separate application will be arranged at the same time for the English-language Nursing programme and the retraining programme in Energy and Environmental Engineering (in Finnish).

– SAMK’s autumn application round brings together options that respond comprehensively to the competence needs of the Satakunta region, while also taking international applicants into account. There are opportunities both for those pursuing their first higher education degree and for professionals aiming to advance their careers, says Janne Santala, Head of Student Services.

Growth continues – A record number of students graduated from SAMK again in 2025

In 2025, Satakunta University of Applied Sciences (SAMK) once again reached a record high in the number of graduates. The number of graduates has increased for several consecutive years.
