The conference journey began in Stockholm, Sweden, where participants boarded an overnight ferry to Turku, Finland, and continued along the country’s western coast to Rauma. This provided an opportunity to explore Finnish logistics solutions and supply chain operations already on the way to the conference venue. The event gathered teachers, researchers, students and professionals in logistics, transport and supply chain management from across Europe.
The conference theme, “Ensuring Security of Supply – Logistics in Action”, highlighted supply security, energy solutions and innovations in logistics education. During the week, participants took part in expert sessions and study visits, including to the Olkiluoto Nuclear Power Plant and the UNESCO World Heritage site of Old Rauma.
