This degree programme is based on diverse methods of studying. Both theory and practice are taught by competent teachers in up-to-date premises and with modern equipment. First-class libraries are also at the student’s disposal. The programme is composed of e.g. the following issues: communication skills, the structure and functioning of a human body, physical activity, methods of physiotherapy, applied physiotherapy, practical physiotherapeutic exercises and research of physiotherapy. The graduates from this programme qualify as professional physiotherapists especially in examining and supporting the physical activity and functioning of patients/customers. The employers can be hospitals, health centres, nursing and rehabilitation institutes, service organizations for adapted physical education and patient organizations. The graduates are also qualified to work in social and health care projects, in health maintenance training and therapeutic training.
