SAMK participates in Dubai Expo 2020
SAMK will participate in Dubai World Expo on 1 October 2021 – 31 March 2022.
Satakunta University of Applied Sciences can be found in the Finnish pavilion under the name Education Finland together with 14 other education organizers and enterprises in the field.
According to Jari Multisilta, President and Managing Director of SAMK, the participation in the expo exports education from Finland and Satakunta to the world. The goal is to have more foreign degree students at Satakunta. One of the central strategic goals of SAMK is to support the development of the region by increasing the number of international experts.
– I believe that our high-quality education system, safe society and clean nature attract people to come to study and work in Finland and Satakunta, Multisilta tells us.
More than 190 nations will participate in Dubai Expo. At the expo, the main theme of Finland is Sharing Future Happiness. The theme of the Finnish pavilion concentrates on circular economy, sustainability and innovations.

A significant step for the internationalisation of Satakunta - SAMK joins the European Commission's flagship collaboration
The European Commission has awarded the Seal of Excellence to the DIVERSE University Alliance comprising Satakunta University of Applied Sciences (SAMK) and 11 other European higher education institutions.
