New educational video services and other library resources for SAMK students and staff in 2021

There are three new online information resources now available: HS Talks Business & Management Collection, Bates' Visual Guide to Physical Examination and The Case Centre. The access is provided by SAMK Library.

HSTalks Business & Management Collection

The HSTalks Business & Management Collection contains over 1 100 specially commissioned, multi-media, online lectures and case studies by experts from academia, industry, and commerce. There are over 950 contributing editors, speakers and case study presenters and more than 30 000 informative slides. Subject categories are:

  • Global Business Management
  • Management, Leadership & Organisation
  • Marketing & Sales

  • Technology & Operations

Bates’ Visual Guide to Physical Examination

Bates’ Visual Guide to Physical Examination delivers head-to-toe and systems-based physical examination techniques. The site features more than 8 hours of video content.

The Case Centre

The Case Centre provides access to over 50 000 case studies from leading business schools on all aspects of business and management. They hold the world’s largest and most diverse collection of management cases, articles, book chapters and teaching materials, including the collections of leading business schools across the globe.

New users must register with their SAMK email address.

Altogether 45 students graduated from SAMK in January. Four of them graduated with a Master’s degree. SAMK congratulates all the graduates.

SAMK graduates a record number of students in 2024

Satakunta University of Applied Sciences (SAMK) graduated a record number of students in 2023 – and last year, the record was broken again.

The Career Monitoring Survey for 2019 graduates is underway

The target group of the survey includes all 29,000 graduates from bachelor’s and master’s degree programs in universities of applied sciences in 2019. The nationwide career monitoring survey provides up-to-date employment information for higher education institutions.
