Applications are open for SAMK degree programmes ─ New Tourism Competitiveness Management Master’s Degree Programme available
15 September is the deadline for applications for degree programmes in English at SAMK. There are in total 11 different degree programmes available during the autumn semester 2021. Some programmes are taught in English only.
SAMK offers a new degree programme in English: Tourism Competitiveness Management, organized for the first time in SAMK. This degree programme aims to give tourism professionals new skills to develop themselves and become managers. Online study option is available. This programme was tailored in cooperation with Vidzeme University of Applied Sciences in Latvia. Students will get a diploma from both universities.
In addition to this Tourism Competitiveness Management Degree Programme, you can complete studies in English in Bachelor’s Degree Programme in Nursing in Pori, International Business in Rauma and Master’s Degree Programme in Business Management and Entrepreneurship.
Students are selected based on their diplomas, entrance exams and/or online selection courses during autumn 2021. Studies will begin in January 2022.

A significant step for the internationalisation of Satakunta - SAMK joins the European Commission's flagship collaboration
The European Commission has awarded the Seal of Excellence to the DIVERSE University Alliance comprising Satakunta University of Applied Sciences (SAMK) and 11 other European higher education institutions. This positions SAMK as part of the flagship collaboration of the Commission's European Strategy for Universities.

SAMK today participated in Finland's largest digital security exercise Taisto. Taisto is a nationwide exercise that provides a safe opportunity to practice, test and develop digital security and to build up skills and confidence to rely on in the event of a real incident.
