On SAMK staff day, deserving employees of the year 2021 were awarded in various categories including the success story, the initiative, the project operator, the publisher, the communicator, the teacher, and the SAMK person of the year.
Teppo Hjelt had only been working as SAMK’s library information specialist for a couple months before the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite the exceptional circumstances, he has been able to manage his work well, thanks to efficient technology solutions that support teleworking.

SAMK Library has implemented a new library services platform, Alma, in December 2019. The familiar Finna website samk.finna.fi will remain.
Visible Body Human Anatomy Atlas, provided by SAMK Library for students, is a 3D interactive anatomy visualization and education tool.
