SAMK's graduation ceremony was held last week. The event welcomed all students who graduated or are graduating during the 2024–2025 academic year, along with their guests.

The celebration was held in the Agora Hall on the Pori Campus, with the shared programme streamed to the Rauma Campus and the Art School Campus in Kankaanpää. Graduating students from the Kuninkainen Campus in Huittinen were invited to join the event in Pori. In addition to the streamed portion, each campus hosted its own programme.

The event featured speeches by SAMK representatives, a graduating student, and a representative from the business world, interspersed with musical performances.

During the graduation ceremony, the winners of the Osaaja competition were also announced. This is SAMK’s annual thesis competition, which recognizes the best theses from the previous year. This year, 152 theses were submitted, divided into four categories, an expert panel selected the winning theses and awarded honorable mentions.
