OpenSAMK opened the doors of the campus

The OpenSAMK event was held in SAMK on the Pori campus. At the hybrid event, visitors had the opportunity to learn about the degree studies.

OpenSAMK was held this autumn as a hybrid event on the Pori campus. At the event, SAMK’s degree programmes were presented, and visitors got to know the SAMK campus.

At first there were presentations of SAMK’s training programmes, then student interviews and competitions in the Agora Hall. The exhibition area was in the lobby of the campus. SAMK’s students presented their own degree programmes. The fair also had various competitions and activities as well as tours in the study facilities.

The program held in the Agora Hall was available as a live stream on SAMK’s Youtube channel and it has also been recorded (Only in Finnish).

SAMK at SuomiAreena, in themes of space technology, expertise and a sustainable future

SAMK will participate in SuomiAreena in Pori from 23 to 26 June 2026. SAMK will be contributing both the Kansalaistori (Citizen square) programme and SuomiAreena’s Suuri avaruuspäivä (Big Space Day) which will explore the opportunities offered by space technology and Finland’s role as a future success story.

The graduating student’s speech was given by Viivi Virtanen, who graduated from the Degree Programme for Entrepreneurs (Yrittäjän tutkinto-ohjelma).

SAMK celebrated its graduates – See moments from different campuses

SAMK’s graduation ceremony was held last week. All students who graduated during the 2025–2026 academic year, along with their loved ones, were welcome to attend. This year, the number of attendees reached a record high.
