SAMK offers eight full-time study Bachelor’s degree programmes: Mechanical Engineering, Physiotherapy, Mechatronics, Artificial Intelligence (Data Engineering), International Business, Nursing, Logistics and International Tourism Management.

Bachelor’s degree programmes are for students who have completed secondary education. The language of instruction is entirely in English.

There are also three Master’s degree programmes: Sustainable Business Management (on campus), Maritime Logistics Management (part-time/online) ja Sustainable Business Management (part-time/online).

Master’s degree programmes on campus and online are for those who already have a bachelor’s degree or some other suitable higher education qualification and at least two years of work experience after graduation.

Mechanical Engineering has two languages, one group

In the future, students of the two degree programmes in Mechanical Engineering, both the one with Finnish and the one with English as the language of tuition, will study together.

The reform aims to enhance the integration and employment opportunities of international students in Finland. At the same time, it will support the internationalization and language skills of Finnish-speaking students.

– The curriculum is very versatile. We offer strong expertise in design, as well as knowledge in production automation, industrial systems, and production control, says Senior Lecturer Leena Nolvi, who was involved in the planning of the new studies.

The application to the degree programmes tuitioned in Finnish in SAMK will be open from March 11 to March 25, 2025. All programmes available for application in the spring will start in autumn 2025.
