SAMK student has been diagnosed with coronavirus infection

Those who have been in contact with the student in a teaching situation have been contacted and they have been given the news personally, with instructions related to the matter. According to current instructions, infection chains are not investigated any more.

Edit 3 April 2020: According to the information received by SAMK, the student has been discharged from a hospital in their home country.

An international student of SAMK has been diagnosed with coronavirus infection. The student had travelled to the their home country, where the infection was discovered. The student stated that falling ill happened during the homeward journey.

Those who have been in contact with the student in a teaching situation have been contacted and they have been given the news personally, with instructions related to the matter. According to current instructions, infection chains are not investigated any more.
