Multisilta highlights for example how widely online teaching is used at SAMK besides traditional teaching methods.

– The whole campus is a learning environment. Therefore, wireless network works well in all facilities in 2.4 and 5GHz frequencies. SAMK has introduced the BYOD concept. BYOD means the same as Bring Your Own Device, so that students make their assignments mainly with their own computers.

Jari Multisilta describes also HILL distant learning system used at SAMK, which enables studying online.

– Many examinations can be done in our digital exam classrooms when it is suitable time for the student.
