In the joint application, SAMK received over 5200 applications for its degree programmes, of which more than 1600 were primary choices. In addition, the separate admission to the English-language Nursing degree programme collected almost 700 applications.
International programmes attracted applicants
There was strong interest in the English-language programmes. International Business (Rauma) received over 1300 applications, and International Tourism Management (Pori) over 1300 applications. In both degree programmes, the number of applicants far exceeded the number of available study places, and there were plenty of first-choice applicants.
Selections to the degree programmes will be made during autumn through certificate-based admission, entrance examinations, and admission courses. Studies will begin in January 2026.
