SAMK and Satakunnan Osuuskauppa signed partnership agreement
Satakunnan Osuuskauppa (retail cooperative) and SAMK have been cooperating for years, so a contractual partnership was a natural continuum for good cooperation. The partnership aims at deepening, expanding and systematizing the cooperation as well as creating new forms of cooperation and new, bold openings.
39 students graduated from SAMK in October
Altogether 39 students graduated from SAMK in October. Six of them completed a Bachelor's degree in English. SAMK congratulates all the graduates.
Fine arts learning environment
Artists have been graduating from the traditional Kankaanpää School of Fine Arts for over 50 years. Nowadays, the campus is part of SAMK.

Senior Lecturer Maija Kangasperko teaches international physiotherapy students at SAMK together with her team. Her work includes teaching professional subjects and thesis supervision. Kangasperko has extensive international networks, and according to her, they are the university's most important resource.

– For software companies ROS (Robot Operating System) is a way to use robotics and automation operating in languages already familiar to them. For companies in robotics and automation this is also a good opportunity to find skilled workers, save in costs and innovate new products, says Toni Aaltonen, a researching lecturer at Satakunta UAS, also the project manager of Rokokoo.
