Logistics is everywhere and belongs to everyone´s daily life in one way or the other. The field is not very well known, even though it deals with matters that affect for example how milk is delivered fresh to the consumer, the frozen products icy to the supermarket freezer and fresh fruit to our dinner table.

Student story: Engineering student set off to get new perspectives
Electrical and automation engineering student Antti Inkinen decided to go abroad to student exchange for half a year before graduation. Antti´s philosophy is to challenge himself and he also wanted to have new perspectives to engineering and project work.

Juha Puustinen appointed Senior Fellow of SAMK: Medicine networks of benefit to students
Adjunct Professor Juha Puustinen is the other one of the freshly appointed Senior Fellows of SAMK. Puustinen feels enthusiastic about multidisciplinarity and multiprofessionalism, about bringing knowledge produced by science into everyday life and searching for comprehensive solutions – especially for the elderly and their families.

SAMK's Winter School brings culture and insights to Taiwanese senior high school students
For two weeks, SAMK has been hosting visitors from Taiwan. The group consists of about thirty students from two senior high schools, New Taipei Municipal Jhangshu International Creative Technical High School and Living Word Lutheran High School. The students are accompanied by one teacher and two principals.
