COLUMN: Internationality belongs to everyday life – there's no need for contemplation
On a Wednesday in March at SAMK Rauma Campus, 2nd floor of Satamakatu: 60 students in a classroom solving a game connected to production, distribution and purchasing. Half of the students are from our French partner university Vesoul and the other half are SAMK students; there are both Logistics students from the field of Engineering and International Business students from the field of Business Administration.

15 September is the deadline for applications for degree programmes in English at SAMK. There are in total 11 different degree programmes available during the autumn semester 2021. Some programmes are taught in English only.

Joint tourism studies attracted students in the Central Baltic Area – Teacher's guide available on the net
More than 130 course certificates were issued to tourism students studying in the new online study programme “Boosting Growth of Tourism Business” during the academic year 2019-2020. The programme, designed and delivered in cooperation with SAMK, Vidzeme University of Applied Sciences, Tallinn University of Technology and University of Latvia, was funded by the Central Baltic project BOOSTED.

The separate admission procedure for SAMK's international degree programmes closed last week. The average number of applications per place was approximately 28.
