Take part in SAMK’s feel-good contest: Knit Our SAMK wool socks

SAMK invites everyone who enjoys handicrafts to join a feel-good knitting competition.

Wool yarns in the basket.

Your task is to design and knit wool socks that represent SAMK. The goal of the competition is to highlight creativity, joy, and also community spirit – a value that SAMK considers important.

The best socks will be awarded. Each pair is unique and handmade – therefore valuable gifts that will continue their journey to touch new people. The unique creations made in the contest will be donated to our international students, bringing warmth and beauty to communities around the world. One pair of socks, many new stories!

Anyone can participate in the competition. The socks must arrive no later than 17 December, 2025. The winning socks and their creator will be announced on Thursday, 22 January, 2026.
