Svebinar Project

Svebinar is a Nordplus Nordic Languages project coordinated by Satakunta University of Applied Sciences. The participants of the project are Satakunta University of Applied Sciences (Finland), Oulu University of Applied Sciences (Finland), Latvian Academy of Culture (Latvia) and Dalarna University (Sweden).

The goal of the cooperation between these four Nordic/Baltic higher education institutions is to enhance the oral and interpersonal Swedish skills of the higher education students in an e-learning environment. The project offers Swedish teachers a chance to try the flipped learning/flipped classroom in practice and test its possibilities in the teaching of Swedish as well as develop their skills as web instructors. During the project, webinars and language cafes will be arranged where students from different institutions meet each other and discuss in Swedish. Besides cooperation on the web, all the participating institutions will be visited.

The coordinator of the project, Satakunta University of Applied Sciences welcomes all of their partners to Pori and to the region of Satakunta in spring 2018. Come and get to know our new campus and our versatile language teaching!
