Plagiarism
Plagiarism means that someone presents someone else's output as his or her own, or copies or reshapes material produced by someone else to be published under his or her name without mentioning the source.
SAMK uses Urkund (www.urkund.com) to prevent plagiarism. The Urkund service checks if the thesis or other study performance contains parts which may have been copied from material available on the internet or from another thesis.
