Thesis report

No thesis is complete without the thesis report; although, from the client’s perspective, the output may consist in the graphic appearance, improved device, plumbing renovation plan, training module, sculpture or working life development project.

From reading the introduction and the final chapter, the reader should understand what the report deals with – although the text in between describes the process and how the results were achieved.

When revising the thesis report, once more pay attention to:
– readability: Is your text clear? Does it progress logically and without unnecessary repetitions? Does it convey the message you want?
– argumentativeness: Why was the text written and why is it worth reading?
– credibility: Are the conclusions valid? Was the method appropriate and reliable? What are its limitations?
– usability: How did this work? Can it be applied elsewhere? What could be done on the basis of this in the future?
