Practical training

The practical training (work placement) is an essential part of Bachelor's degree studies. In work placement the student familiarises her/himself to working life practice vital to her/his professional studies. The work placement is always supervised, and there is a supervisor both at SAMK and at the work place.

In the work placement student has the opportunity to apply theory to practise and to develop readiness to independent work, to deepen her/his skills and prepare her/himself to work on the professional field in question. The work placement supports and complements student's other studies and professional development.

Spesific instructions for each campus you will find by seeking the information on practical training via campus pages (see the menu on the left hand side: Campuses).
