Fine Arts

Bachelor of Fine Arts, 240 ECTS credits

The life of an artist is a fascinating combination of individuality, challenging work and continuous development both as a human being and as a professional. This programme makes your artistic dreams come true: a friendly and culturally versatile environment creates excellent opportunities to cultivate your talents into a strong professional expertise. The basis for Fine Arts programme are studies in traditional arts, combined with the latest available techniques, experiments and creativity. Theoretical studies support you in shaping your own artistic view, whereas in-depth studies help you in reaching your personal targets. Fine Arts programme is composed of the following courses: methods of traditional fine arts, theoretical subjects, specialized studies in graphics, visual arts or sculpture, processing of digital photos and moving pictures and studies in artistic working life skills and project management. Graduates from this programme qualify as e.g. graphic designers, teachers or experts in several fields of fine arts.

Location: Kankaanpää, tuition in Finnish, modules also in English for exchange students
