PLACING HOLDS

NOTE: Placing holds on the Internet is temporarily NOT possible because of a software bug.

You can place holds for items that are charged out. Holds can't be placed for journals. Please contact the library to place a hold for an item available at the library or for a journal.

  • Search for a title. Check that there are no items available. Please contact the library to place a hold for an item available at the library.
  • Click on "Make a request" and login.
  • Click on "Hold".
  • Follow the instructions on the request form.

Please note: the pick up location can't be selected. It will be the items' home location.

Possible reasons for failure:
- There are no copies to place a hold for: no copies are checked out or the library location (collection) does not allow holds to be placed.
- You have already borrowed the title.
- You have fines and fees more than allowed or your customer information needs to be updated. Please, contact the library for further information.

After you are finished please click on "Logout".
