In the Degree Programme in Innovative Business Services you will learn to operate and work in the changing environment of business services. The IBS programme is an excellent opportunity for you, who are interested in combining the fields of business administration, communication and information technology and media – and maybe starting up your own business.
Specialists of different business areas are coaching you along the studies to reach understanding and develop practical views of new business perspectives. You will study in an international student group and gain valuable skills needed when working in multinational and multicultural business environments.
Your studies:
• are an effective combination of business administration, information and communication technology and media studies
• are based on modern methods of network learning environments and on the principles of Problem Based Learning, that is, learning by doing.
• will include activity modules, projects and live cases.
• include work placements in international and national companies
Goals of the studies:
• you have knowledge to support the development of service business in different industries
• you have the appropriate tools for innovative business thinking
• you can work in multicultural teams and networks
• you have improved your communication skills
This is where you can work:
Graduates from this programme can, additionally to traditional Business administration positions, work in e.g. following positions: consulting, company developer, head of service, service developer and business supervisor. The graduates are also able to develop new business models based on service innovations and may become entrepreneurs already during the studies.
The annual intake is 40 students. Tuition in English.

Entrance Examination 2010 Pre-Reading Material
The International Business Entrance Exam 2010 is based on the following pre-reading material. The applicant must read the material carefully before coming to the entrance exam. The applicant cannot take this material to the actual entrance exam and the material is not available for the applicant during the actual entrance exam.
There will be an essay and multiple choice questions based on this pre-reading material. Part of the entrance exam interview may also cover themes of the reading material.
