ADDING VALUE IN HUMAN SERVICES
GOAL: The UAS Master Symposium aims at increasing awareness and extending knowledge of UAS Master Education Programmes and their impacts in regional development.
TARGET GROUP: The UAS Symposium welcomes ALL working life representatives, university students and teachers, regional development agents, international partner universities representatives and any one interested in UAS Master Studies to attend. Participation is free of charge.
PROGRAMME: the main themes of this Symposium emerge from the core topics in SAMK UAS master degree programmes: client centeredness, accessibility and design for all, child protection and family services, leadership and management, and occupational health & well-being.

ADDING VALUE IN HUMAN SERVICES (in Finnish): presentations on Master Degree Programmes involvement in actual research and development projects on the above mentioned themes
CALL FOR PAPERS - DEADLINE October 30, 2012
We strongly encourage the submission of high quality oral and poster presentations. The abstracts should contain:
1. TITLE OF PAPER: The paper title is printed in CAPITAL LETTERS.
2. AUTHOR(S): The first name should be the presenting author. Use * after the presenting author. Type in upper/lower case.
3. ADDRESS AND EMAIL: Type only the presenting author’s institution, address and email. Type in upper/lower case.
4. MAXIMUM LENGTH: 1-2 Pages; Standard A4 paper (210mm x 297mm = 8.27” x 11.69”); Single spaced; Character fonts should be 12 point type.
5. CONTENTS: Purpose, description, conclusions.
6. PHOTOS, FIGURES & TABLES: Photo, figures and tables are highly recommended and they may be in color. They should be reduced to the appropriate size to fit a one page abstract and should be clearly readable at the reduced size. The reduced figures and tables should be included in the abstract.
