Applying to Study Exchange at SAMK
We are happy to host exchange students from our partner universities around the world.
The application time is twice a year
If you wish to come to study at SAMK in the Faculty of Social Services and Heath Care during the Autumn term 2011 or during the whole academic year 2011-2012, the application time is from 15th of March 2011 until 31st of March 2011. The application time for the Spring term 2012 is 26.9.-15.10.2011.
If you come to study in Faculty of Business and Culture or in the Faculty of Technology and Maritime Management the application time for the Autumn term 2011 and for the whole academic year 2011-2012 is from 26th of April 2011 until 15th of May 2011. Application time for the Spring term 2012 is 26.9.-15.10.2011.

The application is to be completed online under the following link Application Form 2011-2012 .
When applying, please note that
- you should first apply in your own institution according to the instructions given by the international office
- when accepted, please see the ECTS-guide >> to select the courses you wish to take at SAMK and then carefully complete the application form.
- please attach all the enclosures preferably electronically;
- Statement of Purpose,
- Trancript of Records,
- Copy of your passport (only required from students outside EU/EEA-countries) and
- your photo.
- Students applying for the Faculty of Social Services and Health Care need to complete and send with their application also the following enclosure:
Clinical practise >> - Please save the file to your computer, fill it in, and attach it to your application form.
Once the application time has ended, all applicants will be contacted and the course selections will be checked together with the programme coordinators in the beginning of the exchange period.
