Applying to Study Exchange at SAMK
We are happy to host exchange students from our partner universities around the world.
The application time is twice a year
If you wish to come to study at SAMK in the Faculty of Social Services and Heath Care during the Autumn term 2010 or during the whole academic year 2010-2011, the application time is from 15th of March 2010 until 31st of March 2010. Applications for the Spring term 2011 should be send latest on October 1st 2010.
If you come to study in Faculty of Business and Culture or in the Faculty of Technology and Maritime Management the application time for the Autumn term 2010 and for the whole academic year 2010-2011 is from 3rd of May 2010 until 21st of May 2010. Application for the Spring term 2011 should be send latest on the October 25th 2010.

The application is to be filled in online under the following link Application Form 2010-2011
When applying, please note that
- you should first apply in your own institution according to the instructions given by the international office
- when accepted, please see the ECTS-guide >> to select the courses you wish to take at SAMK and then fill in carefully the application form.
- please attach all the appendix preferably electronically;
- Statement of Purpose,
- Trancript of Records,
- Copy of your passport (only required from students outside EU/EEA-countries) and
- your photo.
- Students applying for the Faculty of Social Services and Health Care need to fill in and send with their application also the following appendix:
Clinical practise >> - Please save the file to your computer, fill it in, and attach it to your application form.
Once the application time has ended, all applicants will be contacted and the course selections will be checked together with the programme coordinators in the beginning of the exchange period.
