Bachelor’s Degree in Maritime Management (Sea Captain) is required.

Admission criteria

Curriculum 2008 (2011 curriculum is slightly different, and  will be announced in September)

This degree programme is the only maritime management degree offered in Finland. Marine safety and environment management issues are central in shipping. Ship electronics and information technology are in an essential role in maritime safety, and the users of these tools are continuously faced with new challenges. Masters in maritime management are continuously trained as shipping and maritime insurance experts to respond to the needs of the shipping companies and insurance companies.
