This degree programme is composed of the following modules: socio-economic issues, professional work in social services, multidisciplinary interaction, multicultural work, R&D and leadership as well as communications and language studies. In vocational studies it is possible to choose one of the following specialization fields: special education and guidance of handicapped people, social work with substance abusers and people with mental health problems, work with senior and elderly citizens and socio-pedagogic tasks with children and teenagers. The graduates from this programme have good qualifications to work within the public sector, in enterprises, different organizations or citizenship activities. Professional skills related to social services are more and more needed also outside actual social work and services.
