The education offered by SAMK is organized in degree programmes (koulutusohjelma). SAMK offers both bachelor's and master's degree programmes. A degree programme concentrates on a given area of professional expertise and further may be divided into even more specialised areas.

Bachelor's degree programmes lead to a Finnish "ammattikorkeakoulututkinto" equalling to the first degree in the European three cycle system (bachelor-master-doctor). Annually SAMK awards 900 - 1000 degree certificates to graduates.

At the moment there are 22 bachelor degree programmes at SAMK, four of them are offered in English: bachelor degrees in Environmental Engineering, Physiotherapy and Innovative Business Services in the city of Pori, and International Business and Marketing Logistics in Rauma.
