      <title>International Summer School (21.05.2012 10:37-15.06.2012 10:37)</title>
      <description>Rovaniemi University of Applied Sciences and Satakunta University of Applied Sciences arranges the International Summer School in Finland on 21 May – 15 June 2012.

The Summer school is implemented in cooperation with American partner universities in Magellan Exchange Network. However students and faculty members from all RAMK and SAMK partner universities are warmly welcome to participate. RAMK and SAMK degree programme students can also gain additional summer studies by participating in the international summer school.

The venue during first two weeks (21 May – 1 June) will be RAMK in Rovaniemi and for the last two weeks (2 – 15 June) SAMK in Pori.

The Cross-cultural Development Course is divided into three different topics from which students can choose one according to their field of study:
Health Care and Social Services Case (3 US credit hour / 6 ECTS)
Business Case (3 US credit hour / 6 ECTS)
Technology Case (3 US credit hour / 6 ECTS)

In addition there are three other special courses available for the participants:
Nature Trek in Lapland (1 US credit hour / 2 ECTS)
European Union Course (1 US credit hour / 2 ECTS)
Russia as Business and Co-operation Region (1 US credit hour / 2 ECTS)
